The Coalpots: are approx 12" in height, and 14" across the grilling area, they are compact, very sturdy and heavy. Perfect for outdoor table top use, but do place on an old metal tray, or wooden board, you get the odd stray hot coal escaping.

The Cookpots:  come with a lid, that almost fits! (they are hand made) and any gaps allow out extra steam! They work best, sitting straight on top of the charcoal, rather than on the grill, as they have rounded bottoms.

They do vary in size, from Medium, which depending on appetite  feeds  4-6. To Large, which feeds 8-10. With either  a veg stew, curry or rice and peas, side or main dish.

The Cookpot needs to be sealed before first use, clay is porous, so this step is very important, and it's quite easy, just light your Coalpot, place the Cookpot on the coals to warm up, add a couple of inches sunflower/ corn or similar oil, cover with lid allow to get hot, swirl the hot oil carefully around the inside, not quite to the top, get a good coating, discard  the oil then its ready to use, it's a bit like a wok,  the flavours just get better with each use.

Full use instructions are included with each kit.
